Feria del comic
Madrid's Comic Fair (FCMadrid) is the great annual event devoted to the ninth art at Matadero Madrid: +200 signing sessions, dozens of exhibitors (bookshops, publishers, fanzines) and a 34% growth in business volume between editions. I designed the UX experience and developed the full front-end; I also built custom plugins with Claude Code (AI) — the standout is the signings manager with bulk import, search and Excel export — that have made the event's editorial operation scalable.

About the project
Official website, editorial system and custom tools for Madrid's Comic Fair.
FCMadrid is the great annual event devoted to the ninth art, held at Matadero Madrid with +200 signing sessions, dozens of exhibitors among bookshops, publishers and fanzines, and a 34% growth in business volume between editions.
I designed the UX experience end-to-end and developed the full front-end: a site that makes it easy to discover the programme, authors and signings before the event, and during the weekend works as a compass for visitors.
Built for mobile. Refined on desktop. No compromise between the two.

Scope
Clear information architecture for an event with many layers: programme by day, signings by author and time slot, exhibitor catalog by category, press and archive of previous editions. Everything reachable in two clicks.
Beyond design and front-end, I built several custom plugins for the internal team using Claude Code (AI). The standout: a signings manager that imports hundreds of sessions from XLSX, searches by author, filters by publisher and exports back to Excel — what used to be scattered spreadsheets is now a single source of truth.

The signings plugin accepts bulk Excel imports, searches by author or publisher in milliseconds and re-exports to XLSX: +200 sessions managed frictionlessly by the event team.

What does this project bring to the client?
An official site that handles each edition's peak traffic without outages, with information always up to date and clearly structured — the visitor arrives, finds what they need in seconds, decides and acts.
And for the internal team, a suite of tools that turn repetitive tasks into minute-long operations: import, filter, export, publish. Result: +34% business volume in the second edition and a scalable editorial operation for the editions to come.
